Our Team

Claire co-founded EcoTips in 2024 with the mission of creating meaningful environmental change through education, community involvement, and innovative sustainability solutions. As a co-founder, she leads event planning and coordination, develops partnerships with community members and organizations, manages financial records, and conducts ongoing research to support EcoTips’ initiatives. Through her work, Claire strives to inspire others to take action toward a more sustainable future. She is currently a senior at Ames High School and enjoys listening to music, volunteering in her community, and exploring new experiences in her free time.

Dania joined EcoTips as the Outreach Director, where she works to strengthen community connections and expand the initiative’s impact. She manages sponsorship outreach, develops partnerships with organizations, and assists with the creation of marketing materials to help promote EcoTips’ programs and events. Dania is currently a senior at Ames High School and is interested in pursuing a career in business, economics, and mathematics. She is an active member of Ames High School DECA and Student Council. Outside of school, Dania enjoys volunteering at the Ames Public Library, running, and reading.

Sophie joined EcoTips as the Activities Director, where she helps plan and coordinate engaging activities that inspire students and community members to explore sustainability in creative and meaningful ways. Through her role, she contributes to developing interactive experiences and supporting EcoTips’ events and programs. Sophie is currently a sophomore at Ames High School and is actively involved in Key Club and DECA. Outside of school, she enjoys volunteering in her community, playing the flute, and exploring her creativity through arts and crafts, baking, and other creative activities.
